Toe Walking, Autism and Spiritual Healings
Recently a parent asked if their child’s toe walking could be cured with these spiritual healings. As I knew very little about this subject, I first had to get a better understanding of how the human body functions in relation to gait. That was followed by reading numerous articles about toe walking and medical research about toe walking that attracted my attention.
Not only did I look at statistics in trying to get some idea what “categories” of children are likely to toe walk, but I also read several of the freely available medical research literature that can be found on this subject.
In the end I found no specific conclusions (yet) after all this reading.
The way I work is that I will ask for further spiritual guidance or clarification once I read something that catches my interest. Once my own understanding is increased, the relevant organs etc. can be “addressed” through spiritual means. Ultimately with the aim to heal the underlying functionality that causes the toe walking.
I found that the “toe walking” children I looked at also have developmental issues such as autism. They are also far more psychic and sensory aware than the average person.
In one case there was hypersensitivity and issues of a sensory nature resulting in physical head banging.
I am currently working on a particular spiritual way of healing the body, including the sensory awareness as that can be overstimulated with children who toe walk. However, it is still a little too early to know which of the healings given to some of these affected children might have the intended result. I hope to have more about this topic in the next newsletter.
As there is a greater occurrence of toe walking among children with various developmental conditions such as cerebral palsy and autism I will continue to look into this.
However, more than half of the children who naturally toe walk stop doing so by the age of 5.
I noticed there are some medical options to prevent toe walking, however they can be invasive and you will need to find the right medical practitioner. Some of these options include specific exercises to stretch the Achilles tendon or sometimes the use of a cast to stretch the Achilles tendon. There are also special orthopedics that fit in a shoe and must be worn for a minimum of 6 months to erase the toe walking habit. All this is of course done with assistance of a medical practitioner.
DISCLAIMER: I am not a medical doctor and do not practice medicine. I do not diagnose, cure, heal, treat disease or otherwise prescribe medication. I assist people through spiritual means so that your own innate spiritual beingness can heal you. I recommend that clients continue to see their regular medical doctors and follow medical advice as my work is not a substitute for conventional medical diagnosis or treatment of any medical or psychological condition. I do not make any promises about the results of the sessions. From a Spiritual perspective that is not possible. The Soul is what drives this. The sessions help many people, but like any modality it may not suit everyone’s needs.
